This campus style look is indeed a throwback photo from warmer fall days. But despite the passing time, it remains one of my favorite looks from head to toe!
Let’s start with the faux-short hair look I achieved by simply doing to crown twists. I accessorizedthe mannish style with large hoop earrings, a sleek statement necklace, and a large gold watch (not pictured).
The Top Half:
My shirt was a silk button down with thin cream and burgundy stripes paired with a vintage, oversized, Vanessa Huxtable inspired, Talbots blazer (shoulder pads still very much in-tact). Peeking from underneath the jacket you’ll notice my homage to Urkel burgundy and gold suspenders; with this look they’re so much cooler than a belt!
The Bottom Half:
The pants are old fashioned high-waist, pleated front, men’s dress slack that I cuffed to expose my patterned socks and brown Franco Sarto wing-tip shoes. Since this is campus style, I had to add the messenger bag to house my books for class. This chocolate and tan, quilted cotton cross body finishes it all off and was an expensive steal at XXI.
Get The Look:
